About 'The Mini Kitchen'
The Mini Kitchen came from a couple of things; one, my childhood nickname from my dad and sister 'Mini', and two, my love and passion for food.
My name is Abbey, I'm an eighteen year-old New Zealander, living in London. I left the big-little-city, Auckland, in April this year to explore the other half of the world, and coincidentally, the amazing food it has to offer. (Travel/lifestyle blog above)
I've always enjoyed cooking and baking, as a little girl I learnt my favourite recipes (Chocolate Chip Muffins and Never Fail Chocolate Brownies) off by heart. It wasn't until recent years that my passion for all types of cooking and baking really blossomed. I'd spend endless hours looking at recipes and gorgeous dishes online, only dreaming of finding the time to make them all!
I'm known as the baker of the family, my dream is to have a huge kitchen of my own where I can bake endlessly each day and share it with anyone and everyone who wants to indulge. But for now, creating beautiful dishes (both sweet and savoury) and sharing them on here, will have to do :)
PS. I'm new at this whole food blogging thing, so you'll have to bare with my amateur posts.
